"Why are bad things permitted in the lives of godly people?"
I've learned not to question God's judgments or ways,
Or what He sends, or permits, into my few days,
I just know that He hears, and will answer my prayer,
I know that He WILL - in His time - somewhere.
It is not mine to determine the time of the place
But I know that I can trust His love and His grace;
To do so, I'm taught that when I truly believe,
In His time, His blessings I will doubtless receive.
No true believer should ever doubt that He'll attend
to our every feeble call, and that He will send
A guardian angel so bright and fair,
In response to His children's every trusting prayer.
(Romans 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!)
